Hello, I’m Kelly!
I first picked up a camera back in 2012! I took pictures and videos on a Nikon J1 digital camera and fell in love with videography. Filming and video editing became a hobby of mine and still remains one to this day.
I started pursuing photography more seriously when I studied abroad in London in 2021. Getting a chance to explore a new country with my pre-loved T5i DSLR was an absolute dream. This is where my passion for wildlife photography really fell into place.
It’s a bit of a funny story, but I was thrifting on Brick Lane in London and had to use the bathroom. P.S. the U.K. does not always offer public bathrooms. I used Google Maps to find one and stumbled upon Spitalfields Farm. Growing up in L.A., I didn’t get to see many farm animals and my dog doesn’t count, so this was a wonderful surprise. I had brought my camera to photograph the streets of London, but as I pointed my camera to the animals, I just fell in love with it.
Origin Story:
I’m a photographer based in Los Angeles, California, specializing in portraits and wildlife photography.
If I had to describe my photography in three words, I would say it’s real, candid, and fun. My goal is to capture the raw emotions throughout my photo sessions.
For now, I plan on focusing my energy towards graduation photoshoots. In the future, I hope to visit other countries, such as Australia, to take more pictures of wild animals!
